This weekend

So I located a couple of old friends from Dartmouth NS from many many years ago.
I have been emailing Rob and Beth and finding out what has been going on in their lives. Very fun. With those connections I am being re-acquainted with more "old" friends.
Graham and Rebekah were over with Len and the kids and Mom and Dad B. Rebekah is due to have here baby some time in June. Another June birthday!!!
It is exciting to have another Borgdorff baby it's been 9 years since the last one so this is fun for all of us. Graham and Rebekah expect to cottage with us still in July so we have a whole week to spoil this little one.
Well I off to clean up the girls rooms before they come back from GEMS camping.

High Jump

Well today was track and field day and the kids had a great day with great weather.
Jacob beat the school record of 159 by jumping 173. It was cool to watch.
He also broke records in triple jump and spinting.
Kristen did well in all her events and Melissa too did just great.
Off to Master Track in June to go break some records there!!

Before and After

Jacob's crazy adventure

Well he got to school in one piece. They stopped a Tim Hortons on the way to school. It took them just under 1 1/2 hours. (I think the girls might have slowed him down a bit). They are biking home!! I asked Jake before I left from work and they all agreed to bike home. He has papers to do when he gets home too. He will be very tired!! Good for him though that's a long way!!! Jacob has a summer job babysitting 2 boys this summer. Maybe he can bike there. Now that I know he can do it???

New Post finally

I will post some pictures of our trip sometime soon. They are on my Facebook for those that have facebook you can view a bunch there.
Today Jacob and Amanda and Kaitlyn (girls from school) decided to bike to school. There teacher was telling them how he biked a mile to school every day. He challenged them (dared them to bike to school) now if you have any idea where we live compared to school, that's a long hike. I checked it yesterday and it's 16.2 km. So they left at 7:55 and there teacher said they would be excused if they are late. I leave for work in 10 minutes so I will be able to see how far they have gotten. They have a cell phone and they only need to bike on 3 different roads so at least it's not complicated. I'm praying for safety. We have 3 parents that will probably be driving by at least once enroute. I'll keep you posted how they do and what time they made. (they are already talking about a Timmies stop) so this could be an arrive at lunch thing. It's only 1 degree out this morning too. A little bit more independence.....
